Captain Casey has been passionate about fishing throughout his entire life. He began his professional fishing career in high school, working as a mate on a 6-pack charter boat operating out of Niantic, Connecticut, targeting Striped Bass and Bluefish. Occasionally, he ventured on longer trips, traveling 100 miles offshore to the continental shelf. He pursued higher education at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in marine safety and environmental protection. During his studies, he also obtained his U.S.C.G. 100-ton captain's license, including a towing endorsement.
After graduating, Captain Casey relocated to the Florida Keys, where he has been a full-time captain and mate since 2015, fishing all the abundant waters the Keys have to offer. He is a skilled angler dedicated to helping clients catch impressive fish, whether they are experienced fishermen or beginners. On our trip, Captain Casey went out of his way to ensure we found plenty of fish and was extremely accommodating throughout the day. His boat is modern and well-equipped, featuring brand-new rods and reels, all maintained in spotless condition.

His first mate, his cousin Luke, was attentive and helpful throughout, taking great care of the rods, fish, and boat maintenance, attending to every little detail.
