With more than 26 years of expertise, Captain Bryan has established himself as a seasoned professional in the fishing charter industry. Originally from Lawrence County, Alabama, he has a rich background in bass fishing and worked as a smallmouth guide on the Tennessee River chain. In 1995, after his family relocated to Gulf Shores, Alabama, Captain Bryan’s parents purchased a charter boat, and he joined as a summer deckhand. He continued this role throughout his high school and college years, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Following graduation, Captain Bryan decided to turn his deep passion for fishing into a full-time career. He earned his captain’s license in 2007 and has since specialized in targeting Grouper, light tackle saltwater species, Red Snapper, and Amberjack.

Our four-hour fishing trips are typically our shortest excursions and are perfect for families with young kids or those new to being out on the water. This trip focuses exclusively on trolling, where two or more lures are slowly pulled behind the boat. If you prefer bottom fishing, we also offer a separate 4-hour bottom fishing trip. The trolling trip usually covers waters approximately 0-3 miles offshore, with both morning and afternoon departure times available.
This outing is especially suitable for families with little ones who have never experienced fishing on the water before. Trips stay close to shore, offering a calm and enjoyable experience. During the warmer months, your primary targets will be King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. From late fall through early spring, large schools of Bull Reds migrate close to the beaches—it's common to witness whole schools of redfish chasing baitfish, turning the water a bright orange color. Additionally, Captain Bryan provides sight fishing for Cobia during their annual migration from southern Florida to Louisiana, which begins around late March and continues into early June. Like the trolling trip, these outings stay within 0-3 miles from shore.
All fishing equipment is supplied by Captain Bryan, including rods, reels, tackle, licenses, and lures. A first mate will be aboard to assist you throughout your trip. We recommend bringing a cooler with ice to keep your catch fresh, along with sunscreen, a hat, and any food or drinks you may want for the day.
Prepare yourself for an exciting adventure with Captain Bryan as you pursue a variety of thrilling and tasty fish species native to these waters.
