Jeff Donald was friendly and engaged well with my grandson. We had nice conversations, and while the fishing results were moderate—around three fish per person—it was still an enjoyable experience. It’s important to note that all catch must be released, so plan accordingly if you want to eat your catch.
We had a great time with Donald, who is very skilled at what he does, and we caught lots of fish. However, one group found their experience less satisfying. Although Don was pleasant, their inshore fishing trip didn’t meet expectations. They barely left the marina, stopped at a few spots that didn’t yield much, and felt the effort to find fish was lacking compared to other guides. Additionally, they weren’t informed beforehand that the trip was strictly catch-and-release, which was disappointing given the cost. We’ve discussed this with Don and ensured his kids’ trips clearly state the catch-and-release policy. We’ve also reached out to resolve the matter and offer a better future experience.
Great fishing trip with Captain Donald! We caught plenty of fish and had a blast. Highly recommend him for any fishing skill level. We had an amazing time with Captain Danny! Our group consisted of three dads and three eight-year-olds, and he was a fantastic guide and teacher to the children. We caught fish right away at our first stop and also enjoyed spotting dolphins in the bay. Everyone had a wonderful experience and the trip was well-received by all.
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 2 days prior to the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the same day or failure to attend will result in your card being charged the full trip cost.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for the trip. However, we suggest you also bring sunglasses, sunscreen, suitable clothing for the weather, and any personal gear you wish to use during your adventure.
