Captain RC, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, has been passionate about fishing the coastal waters from an early age. Growing up, he developed a deep love for being out on the water and pursuing fishing adventures. In 2015, he made the bold decision to leave his position at Austal and embark on a new path by starting as a deckhand on a charter fishing boat. It quickly became apparent that this was the perfect fit for him. Since then, Captain RC has dedicated himself to honing his skills, spending extensive time on the water and learning valuable techniques from the region’s most respected fishermen. By 2021, his enthusiasm for fishing had evolved beyond personal enjoyment, inspiring him to earn his captain’s license so he could share his expertise and experiences with others. You can cancel without any fees if you do so at least 7 days prior to your trip, and you will get a credit added to your account. If you cancel within 7 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. On the day of the trip, cancellations or failure to show up will result in charging the full trip amount to your card.

Once you arrive at prime fishing locations, you'll drop your lines to much greater depths to target Swordfish, which roam deep, scavenging for squid, baitfish, and other prey.
These fish are fiercely hungry, and when they strike your bait, the fight will push your strength, skill, and endurance to the limit. Back at the dock, Captain RC will clean your catch, so you can bring home fresh Swordfish for a fantastic dinner.
Your fishing platform is Captain RC’s 36-foot Cape Horn center console, powered by triple Suzuki 350-HP engines, ensuring rapid and comfortable transit offshore. The boat is fully outfitted with essential gear including GPS navigation, Fishfinder, a live bait well, and an ice chest to store your catch. Additionally, a retractable shade is available for protection from the sun when needed.
Captain RC supplies premium rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses, so all you need to bring are your sunglasses, sunscreen, lunch, and any beverages or snacks you prefer to enjoy on board.
