With more than 26 years in the charter fishing industry, Captain Bryan brings extensive expertise to every trip. A native of Lawrence County, Alabama, he initially built his skills through semi-professional bass fishing and guiding smallmouth bass tours on the Tennessee River chain. In 1995, after his family relocated to Gulf Shores, Alabama, his parents purchased a charter boat. Bryan began working as a deckhand during the summers, continuing through his high school and college years. Following graduation, he chose to turn his love of fishing into a full-time career, earning his captain’s license in 2007.
Captain Bryan specializes in Grouper fishing, light tackle saltwater angling across a variety of species, as well as targeting Red Snapper and Amberjack. Many clients have shared their exceptional experiences aboard his boat. You can cancel your booking at no cost up to 7 days prior to your trip and receive a credit applied to your account. If you cancel less than 7 days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. For cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you do not show up, the full trip amount will be billed to your card.
All necessary gear will be provided; however, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal equipment you wish to use during the trip.
Please note that this trip is not available during snapper season. The 10-hour trip offers an extended experience compared to the 8-hour trip and allows you to explore deeper waters where a variety of fish species can be found. If your goal is to catch amberjack or grouper, this trip is ideal for you! The main species we target include amberjack, gag grouper, scamp grouper, red grouper, vermilion snapper, white snapper, triggerfish, king mackerel, and occasionally, wahoo. Our fishing grounds typically range from 30 to 40 miles offshore.
