About Your Guide

Captain Frank, raised by a tugboat captain, has been passionate about fishing since he could first hold a rod. Growing up, he began with freshwater fishing and gradually shifted to saltwater fishing around age 10. Shortly after earning his law degree, he purchased his first fishing boat and quickly made a name for himself in Kingfishing Tournaments throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. For the following decade, Captain Frank focused on fishing the waters near St. Augustine and the Bahamas, targeting species like Wahoo and Marlin. In 1999, he shifted his focus to inshore fishing, pursuing Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish.

He is passionate about sharing his love for fishing and introducing people to the rich ecosystem of northeast Florida's waters. Beyond just fishing techniques, Captain Frank educates his guests about the environment, highlighting the subtle details of nature that often go unnoticed yet hold great beauty. With nearly 25 years of experience running guided fishing excursions, his expertise spans from offshore deep-sea trips to inshore adventures in shallow waters.

Currently operating a 24-foot Pursuit, Captain Frank offers diverse trips that include exploring inland rivers, beachfront surf zones, and nearshore reef areas. Whether you’re looking to test your skills in the creeks and rivers of Northeast Florida or venture beyond the coastal barrier into the Atlantic’s nearshore reefs, Captain Frank’s experience, gear, and enthusiasm ensure an unforgettable fishing experience. He is also accommodating when it comes to choosing start locations for trips.

Many guests rave about Captain Frank’s outstanding knowledge of the local waters and his encouraging, approachable demeanor. Visitors of all skill levels appreciate his assistance, from helping them land impressive catches to imparting fishing tips and environmental insights. Families and first-time anglers often find their outings with Captain Frank both memorable and educational, creating cherished moments on the water.

Despite challenging weather or fishing conditions, Captain Frank keeps the atmosphere positive, making each outing enjoyable and informative. His calm and friendly nature fosters a welcoming environment, making it feel as if you’re spending the day on the water with a longtime friend. Whether aiming to catch speckled trout, sheepshead, or other local species, guests consistently praise their fruitful trips and eagerly anticipate returning for another adventure with Captain Frank.
