Located in Southeast Louisiana and New Orleans, this region offers some of the most exceptional fishing experiences globally, and Captain Mike is dedicated to making the most of it. Fishing isn't just a profession for Captain Mike; it is his passion and lifestyle, which is why he spends every day of the year out on the water. Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Captain Mike grew up exploring both the inshore and offshore waters of the state. With a lifetime of fishing experience in salt and freshwater across the country, he firmly believes that nothing compares to the stunning, unspoiled waters and marshlands of Louisiana, truly a Sportsman’s Paradise.
During the winter months, Captain Mike guides waterfowl hunters in Arkansas, known as the duck hunting capital of the world. For the rest of the year, he chases Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Snapper, Black Drum, and any other fish willing to bite in Louisiana’s rich waters. His operation is family-friendly, focusing on providing a safe, fun, and successful fishing adventure for everyone—friends, families, and clients alike.
As a father to three wonderful daughters, Captain Mike is passionate about encouraging more children and women to participate in outdoor activities like fishing and hunting, making every trip not only enjoyable but also inclusive. Our excursion was fantastic! Captain Mike expertly navigated us to prime fishing spots, even helping my friend overcome seasickness with genuine kindness and multiple offers to return if needed. The boat is well-equipped, including a convenient onboard restroom for women, so no one has to worry about uncomfortable situations.
Before 10 AM, we had already reached our red snapper limits and continued to catch trout and redfish. Throughout the trip, we encountered an array of fascinating marine life—sharks, small swimmer fish, angel fish, drum, and many more—that we released back into the water. Despite challenging 25 mph winds, Captain Mike tirelessly worked to place us on productive fishing spots. My 5-year-old and 10-year-old kids joined us, and Mike’s patience and skill helped them both land fish while I fished too. His boat provides a smooth, comfortable ride with great music to enhance the experience.
We are incredibly grateful to Captain Mike for making my sons' first time on the water unforgettable. We can’t wait to return for another fishing adventure!
