With more than 26 years of experience, Captain Bryan is a seasoned professional in the fishing charter industry. A native of Lawrence County, Alabama, he has a background in semi-professional bass fishing and worked as a smallmouth guide on the Tennessee River chain. His journey in charter fishing began in 1995 when his family relocated to Gulf Shores, Alabama, and purchased a charter boat. Captain Bryan started as a deckhand during summer breaks throughout high school and college, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
After finishing college, he chose to turn his passion for fishing into a full-time career and earned his captain’s license in 2007. Captain Bryan specializes in Grouper fishing, light tackle for various saltwater species, as well as targeting Red Snapper and Amberjack. His clients consistently praise his dedication and skill.
One family shared their wonderful experience, highlighting how Captain Bryan and his first mate took excellent care of them, quickly locating fish and adapting the trip to accommodate their son who felt seasick. Despite challenging currents and difficult fishing conditions, they landed a great catch including vermillion snapper, Spanish mackerel, black snapper, and amberjacks. They expressed eagerness to fish with him again, noting his enthusiasm and commitment to making each trip enjoyable.
Another testimonial commended both Captain Bryan and his first mate for their attentive support, especially with an elderly father on board, managing to boost his involvement without diminishing his pride. They marveled at the big catch pulled aboard and offered high praise for the crew’s professionalism and kindness.
Numerous other guests remarked on the fun atmosphere and successful fishing sessions led by Captain Bryan and his team. Whether it was catching trigger fish, releasing amberjack and red snapper to preserve seasons, or hauling in a large number of sheepshead, everyone reported a memorable outing filled with excitement and great energy.
Captain Bryan’s engaging personality and expert knowledge create a rewarding experience for all ages, including first-time boaters. Many look forward to booking with him again on their next visit, confident in the outstanding guide and crew ready to deliver an unforgettable fishing adventure.

Experience personalized, one-on-one service aboard our boat, led by Captain Bryan and his First Mate. This vessel is especially ideal for families with children, as both crew members actively engage with your kids to ensure an enjoyable and memorable outing. What sets this boat apart is its unique design, enabling Captain Bryan to operate from three separate helm stations: inside the cabin for the journey out, from the tower above to scout surface activity, and on the back deck to stay close to guests while fishing. This setup provides an unparalleled level of interaction, allowing the Captain to remain alongside customers throughout the trip—perfect for assisting younger anglers and keeping them involved in every moment. The First Mate is also on hand at all times to assist you. Remember to pack a cooler with ice for your catch, sunscreen, a hat, and any preferred food and drinks to enhance your day.
We pride ourselves on offering premium fishing equipment tailored to the species we’re after. Rather than using a generic rod for all fish, we provide gear matched to the size and type of fish targeted, ensuring a fun, efficient, and rewarding fishing experience.
Our 5-hour trip combines trolling and bottom fishing, making it an excellent choice for those who want to try a bit of both. We begin by slow trolling for King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel en route to nearby artificial reefs. Once we arrive, you'll have approximately 2.5 hours of bottom fishing, where you can expect to catch Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, and possibly Amberjack or even a shark. This shorter bottom fishing trip is perfect for anglers who aren’t looking to fill their freezer but want a thrilling outing. We use ultralight tackle to add excitement when battling our target species. While trophy-sized snapper or amberjack are occasional catches, most fish are average to keeper-sized. Our fishing grounds are located 8-12 miles offshore, with both morning and afternoon departures available.
