Captain Jim and his wife Carolyn share a deep passion for fishing that has been growing for over 20 years, beginning their journey together in Montauk, NY. While Captain Jim has spent the past ten years captaining a six-pack boat, Carolyn often joined fellow anglers, gaining valuable insights and skills. Over time, their dedication and experience fueled the dream of launching their own fishing charter.
In the past five years, they have proudly established and operate their brand-new charter vessel. Between the two of them, they bring more than 35 years of combined expertise, fishing extensively across the entire east end, both inshore and offshore. Their love for the sport even takes them on trips far beyond home waters, including Florida, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and any ocean destination they can explore.
They have also competed in fishing tournaments, earning accolades and placements with catches such as bluefish, striped bass, and impressive sharks. Captain Jim and Carolyn are excited about this new chapter and are eager to create unforgettable experiences, welcoming guests to join them on the water.

You can cancel your booking without any charges if you do so at least 14 days prior to your trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and will be given to the guide. Any cancellations made on the day of the trip, as well as no-shows, will result in the full trip cost being charged to your card.
Each participant is accountable for managing their own equipment. Prior to the trip, James will reach out to you to go over the necessary details.
During this excursion, we typically fish between 8 and 25 miles offshore, targeting a variety of shark species including Thresher, Mako, Blue, Hammerhead, Dusky, Brown, and occasionally, even the Great White shark. Many of these shark species are protected, and we offer a tagging program that allows anglers to actively participate in conservation efforts. Among these, the Thresher shark is prized for its excellent taste and makes for desirable table fare. We provide premium tackle, along with a selection of baits and chum to enhance your fishing experience. Throughout the day, a dedicated mate will be on hand to offer support and share techniques, helping you land that once-in-a-lifetime catch!
