Hello! I'm Captain Harvey, your dedicated Charter Captain based in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and the proud owner of this fishing venture. If you’re planning to spend some time fishing with me, here’s a little background so you can get to know me better. I am originally from North Carolina, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a graduate of the U.S. Maritime Academy. I also hold a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License and serve on the Pro Staff for Bass Pro Shops.
With extensive experience as a recreational and tournament angler, combined with years guiding fishing trips in Ocean Isle Beach, I’m here to deliver a fun and unforgettable fishing experience tailored to everyone—from beginners to seasoned fishermen, whether you’re coming alone or with your family. Our base is located in Ocean Isle Beach, commonly known as OIB, just north of the North Carolina and South Carolina border.
The waters I frequent include the barrier island beaches along Brunswick County, NC, such as Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Sunset Beach, and Calabash, as well as the coastal areas of Little River and North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. While it may sound like a large region, it’s just a short boat ride among these beautiful coastal spots.
My Inshore Charters focus on catching species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum, along with many others. For those interested in Nearshore Fishing, I offer trips targeting Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel when trolling. Bottom fishing nearshore typically aims for Sea Bass, Flounder, Bull Drum, Cobia, and occasionally Grouper. If you’re up for an exciting adventure, my Shark Fishing Charters offer a safe and thrilling experience catching sharks ranging from 10 to over 60 pounds.
One of the most popular charters I offer is the 2-hour Kids Fishing Trip, designed specifically to keep young anglers engaged. These charters target fun, easy-to-catch fish such as Puffer Fish, Whiting, Pigfish, Pinfish, and Croakers, ensuring the kids are constantly busy without overexposure to the sun and elements.

You can cancel your booking without any fees if you do so at least three days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be refunded as credit to your account. If you cancel within three days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in charging the full trip amount to your payment method.
All essentials are provided; however, we suggest packing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suited to the weather, and any additional items you may prefer to have during the trip.
