About Your Guide

Captain Scott holds a Coast Guard captain’s license and is a proud third-generation Floridian. The passion for fishing Florida’s waters runs deep in his family, having received invaluable local insights and traditions passed down from both his grandfathers and father. With over 35 years of experience navigating these waters, he possesses an intimate knowledge of the area and a true love for the outdoors.

Throughout his fishing career, Captain Scott has demonstrated his expertise by earning top honors in several tournaments, including first place at the 2018 Suncoast Tarpon Shootout, largest Tarpon at the 2017 White Buffalo Suncoast Tarpon Shootout, third place for most releases in 2016, second place overall in the 2016 Suncoast Tarpon Shootout, and first place in the 2018 Economy Tackle Bass on Fly tournament.

Captain Scott welcomes anglers of all ages on his charters, especially young anglers, as he enjoys teaching the next generation about this incredible fishery and the joys of outdoor adventure. Seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they catch a big fish fuels his passion for what he does. Known for his patience, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile, he is dedicated to ensuring every fishing trip is a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Guests often praise their trips with Captain Scott, noting how much fun the whole family had and how the experience exceeded their expectations. Many say it was seamless from start to finish, with everyone enjoying quality time together and creating lasting memories on the water.
