He revived his charter business in 2016 after a decade of running inshore and offshore charters around Sarasota, FL prior to the BP oil spill. Following this environmental disaster, Matt temporarily stepped away from fishing to serve in the Army overseas. Upon returning home, he resumed pursuing his true passion. With over 20 years of hands-on experience managing charters and handling yachts for prestigious clients, Matt’s professionalism and attention to cleanliness are unmatched. While Blue Marlin remains his top target, the thrill of reeling in Snook and Tarpon continues to fuel his love for sport fishing.
Captain Phil: A Sarasota native raised nearby in Englewood, Phil grew up surrounded by fishing culture and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport. He chose to become a captain to share his extensive knowledge, skills, and love for fishing with others. Phil is committed to delivering a memorable and one-of-a-kind angling experience to every guest. Even on his days off, you’ll find him out on the water chasing Snook, Redfish, Grouper, Snapper, and occasionally Sharks.
Captain Darius: Born and raised in Sarasota, Darius has spent more than 10 years fishing locally and has five years working full-time within the fishing industry, ranging from bait and tackle sales to deep-sea fishing excursions. He is a skilled and adaptable angler who enjoys targeting a variety of species. Darius is enthusiastic about sharing the excitement of fishing with his guests and is dedicated to making every trip a memorable adventure.
Christian served as our guide and was fantastic throughout the experience. He demonstrated extensive knowledge and was very accommodating, showing great kindness toward my grandsons and assisting them whenever necessary. An exceptional captain and a wonderful outing.
