Hello there! Let me share a bit about myself — I’m an enthusiastic member of the loud and proud community! 🤘 Exciting, right? I earned my degree in Wildlife Biology and have proudly held a captain’s license for over 22 years. Fishing is truly in my veins. Growing up, my family was deeply rooted in angling. My dad was a top B.A.S.S. competitor, and I spent much of my childhood learning the ropes beside him on the water. When I was just seven, he gave me my very first baitcasting rod and reel, teaching me how to handle it. From that point, I participated in numerous bass tournaments with him and eventually developed a passion for saltwater fishing. Nowadays, I compete professionally in redfish tournaments along the stunning Texas coast through to Louisiana, and have also fished in bass tournaments nationwide, from Florida to many other states. While I’ve been lucky to place several times, the moment I treasure most is winning a tournament alongside my late wife, Shelley — a special memory I’ll cherish forever. My mission is to offer you more than just a fishing trip — I’m here to help you achieve your fishing ambitions, catch your share of fish, learn something new, and above all, enjoy yourself and share laughs out on the water. Thanks so much for your interest — I can’t wait to fish with you. Wishing you all the best. Went with Jay on Jan 19, 2026. He was very friendly and gave us a clear idea of what to expect. We caught a full limit of black drum, though the redfish proved a bit shy that day. Overall, it was a wonderful day and a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Jay!
