When you book a trip with Captain Chase, you have the flexibility to choose your starting location. We enjoyed an incredible cast and blast adventure with him. Chase uses mobile duck blinds, allowing you to position yourself right where the ducks are instead of waiting for them to come to a fixed blind. We explored the waters, spotted the birds, and set up the blind perfectly for an evening hunt.
Afterward, we waded through the flats, landing hundreds of redfish, many of which were keepers. Later, back in the blind, we witnessed thousands of ducks on the water nearby, though they didn’t come close enough to shoot this time. Overall, it was an outstanding day filled with lots of ducks and plenty of fish. Big thanks to Chase—we’ll definitely be coming back!
Chase and Marshall did an amazing job guiding a group that included three 13-year-olds and an 11-year-old, along with the dads on another boat. Everyone had an unforgettable time, and we even caught two impressive 40-inch bull redfish!
The conditions were challenging during the final weekend of the season with tides dropping and weather warming up, but Chase worked tirelessly to find new spots and keep us in the action. He even stayed out a bit later to maximize our chances. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to hunt puddle ducks along the coast.
You can cancel your booking without any charge if you do so at least 14 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and given to the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.

Techniques include sight casting with both lures and bait, as well as "soaking" cut shrimp or mullet on the bottom to stir up activity that attracts the fish.
