Outstanding experience! The equipment was top-notch, and Captain Ben’s knowledge of the area is impressive. We took the airboat tour, which I absolutely loved. While many guides have popped up around Rockport, none compare to his 30+ years of expertise. Fishing with Captain Ben was exactly what we hoped for. My wife and I brought along my 83-year-old father for a morning on the water, and we were catching fish almost immediately after the bait hit the water. We kept only what we planned to eat and released the rest—along with the ones we missed.

October 14, 2023 — Despite a windy day, Captain Ben had us hooked on Redfish within 20 minutes of setting out and kept the action going all day. Thanks to him, our first Redfish fishing trip was a huge success, and we’re already making plans to come back!
Captain Ben truly knows all the best fishing spots! If you want to catch fish and enjoy plenty of laughs, he’s the guide to choose. Although we didn’t catch the daily limit, it seemed others around the dock were in the same boat. Ben made sure we found fish and was friendly and engaging throughout the trip. The boat was in excellent condition with no equipment problems. We’d gladly fish with Captain Ben again any time.
You can cancel at no cost if done at least 14 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and goes to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip price being charged to your payment method.
All rods, reels, and tackle come provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you wish to use during the trip.
