Captain William brings nearly two decades of experience as a small business owner in the outdoor adventure field. An avid hunter and fisherman, he recently retired from his thriving taxidermy operation based in Boerne, TX to dedicate more time to fishing. Prior to his business ventures, he proudly served eight years in the United States Air Force. In 2018, he earned his US Coast Guard Captain’s license and also holds a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) fishing guide license.
Since 1994, Captain William has been married to his wife Julie, and together they have two grown sons, Dakota and Tyler. The family relocated to Rockport in 2017, shortly before Hurricane Harvey struck, though they had been frequent visitors to the area for fishing long before moving. Both Dakota and Julie have served in the USAF and have transitioned into careers in the private sector. Tyler shares his father's passion for fishing, holding both Captain and guide licenses, and currently works on offshore vessels out of Port Aransas.
