He operates his 22-foot Boston Whaler Outrage, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha motor, and outfitted with advanced Garmin navigation systems and a Motorguide trolling motor. For added comfort, the boat features a T-top that provides shade during sunny summer days. Booking a trip with Captain Shane promises an enjoyable and successful fishing experience. You can cancel your booking at no cost up to 7 days prior to your scheduled trip, and your account will be credited accordingly. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, the deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a charge for the full trip amount on your card.
Please bring drinks and snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. If you plan to fish wade, waders are necessary. Make sure to wear proper footwear—black-soled shoes are not allowed. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided.
Join Captain Shane at 6 a.m. for an exciting morning trip exploring the jetties within the Galveston Bay area. During this adventure, live shrimp and/or croaker will be used as bait to target impressive species such as giant black drum, speckled trout, and redfish, with the exact catch depending on the season and water temperature. The thrill lies in never knowing which massive fish might strike your line!
Captain Shane provides the boat, ice for both your drinks and your catch, as well as rods and reels upon request, along with all the bait you’ll need. All you have to bring is a Texas Fishing License with a Saltwater Stamp, plus any sun protection and snacks you want to enjoy while out on the water.
