Captain Scott holds a valid 100 Ton Master Captain license from the USCG and brings over 25 years of experience fishing and diving the waters around Ponce Inlet. He has participated in numerous offshore fishing competitions and proudly took first place in the very first Fish Stock tournament in 2003, previously known as the Striker. Captain Scott dedicates several days each week to spearfishing, which allows him to personally observe fish locations and gain a deep understanding of the underwater terrain. He also stays connected with fellow commercial fishermen and captains, fostering the exchange of valuable insights on current fishing trends.
Fishing runs in Captain Scott’s blood, as his father and grandfather introduced him to the sport when he was just five years old. Over time, he has developed a deep love and respect for the ocean and its fascinating creatures.
