Capt. Bob shares, “Seeing the excitement in someone’s eyes when they hook their dream fish, or introducing young people to the mysteries of the ocean and inspiring a love for the outdoors, is why I still enjoy what I do after all these years.”
Capt. Bob's connection to the Florida Keys began in the early 1970s during family trips with his father. He launched his own business in 1980, regularly logging 200 to 300 fishing excursions annually. Over the years, he has also performed numerous rescues during adverse weather conditions, demonstrating his commitment to safety. Beyond guiding, Capt. Bob has contributed as an outdoor writer for various magazines and newspapers, and appeared on radio and television programs, including a recent role on the Outdoor Channel’s “School of Fishing” weekly broadcast.
