Your Guide: Jamie C.

About Your Guide

With more years spent on the water than most people have had breakfasts, Captain Jamie is the ultimate guide for anyone eager to land a big catch while having an unforgettable time. Raised exploring the mangroves of Marco Island, pursuing snook, tarpon, and redfish, he possesses an in-depth understanding of the local waters and an uncanny ability to pinpoint where the fish like to lurk.

But Captain Jamie’s focus isn’t just on the fish—it’s about creating a memorable experience. Expect clever humor, fascinating stories from the sea, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes every fishing trip feel like a true adventure. Whether you’re new to fishing or an experienced angler, Jamie ensures your outing is filled with laughter, valuable insights, and plenty of moments to remember long after you return to shore.

When off the water, he enjoys perfecting his secret recipe for blackened snapper and dreaming about upgrading his Van Staal reel collection. Looking for a fishing trip that is both enjoyable and rewarding? Captain Jamie is the perfect choice.

Fantastic experience! Captain Jamie was engaging, hands-on, and extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend this trip. It was our first time fishing in Marco Island’s backwaters, and Captain Adventures along with Captain Jamie made the whole outing effortless and fun. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to fish around Marco Island.

We had an amazing time! Jamie is a fantastic guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. He accommodated us on short notice.

Had a wonderful day with Captain Thomas. He made everything simple and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be booking again next time we're in town.

Ready to take on the reef inhabitants and wreck tough guys that roam the Gulf? On this adventure, we venture 2–5 miles off Marco Island, where the depths promise exciting catches but the shore’s close enough to keep your coffee warm for the first cast. We'll fish over natural reefs and sunken wrecks bustling with snapper, grouper, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, and any other surprises that show up.

Some days bring a steady stream of bites; other days, it’s a wild frenzy — either way, your arms will get a solid workout. Expect plenty of bottom fishing, jigging, and maybe a bit of light trolling if the action heats up. I'll guide you straight to the fish, update you on what's biting, and cheer you on as you wrestle that grouper like it just insulted your grandma.

This trip is ideal for anglers seeking consistent action without the long haul out to distant waters. Good vibes, cold drinks, and tight lines — it’s all about reef wrangling at its best.
