You can cancel without any charges up to 7 days prior to your trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in a full charge to your card for the entire trip cost.

The Laguna Madre boasts a vibrant and pristine ecosystem, home not only to Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder but also Black Drum, Sheepshead, and seasonally, species like Triple Tail, Snook, Tarpon, and more.
Captain Ruben welcomes anglers of all experience levels and enjoys teaching beginners and children the art of fishing. He primarily uses live and cut bait for Redfish and Speckled Trout with light spinning tackle throughout most of the year. Depending on the season and your interests, he can also pursue other species found in the area.
Fishing takes place aboard Captain Ruben’s 21.5-foot Shallowsport flats boat, equipped with a powerful 150 HP Yamaha engine. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 5 anglers, though 4 is recommended—especially for full-day trips—to ensure ample space and comfort.
All fishing gear and a variety of artificial lures will be provided for your convenience. After the trip, Captain Ruben will expertly clean and fillet your catch, so you can easily bring home fresh fish for your next meal.
