Greetings, I’m Captain Cliff. I began my fishing journey in 1974 on the Lower Laguna Madre as a young 7th grader. Prior to that, I honed my skills fishing freshwater in East Texas. One of my greatest mentors was Wade Dunkin from Harlingen, Texas. My earliest fishing and hunting experiences came through Harlingen National Bank Dial Dunkin and Associates, where we ventured into waters in deep South Texas and Northern Mexico. I was fortunate to learn from seasoned professionals who welcomed me into the fold. Teaching others how to fish has always been a passion of mine, especially sharing this joy with kids and beginners. Fishing isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a part of who I am.

Whether you're a veteran fisherman, a visitor hoping to explore the rich fishing grounds of South Texas, or completely new to angling, joining Captain Cliff on the water promises an unforgettable adventure. I hold a US Coast Guard license as a six-pack charter captain and bring decades of experience to every trip. The species I typically pursue include Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Tarpon, Snook, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Croaker, Whiting, Shark, and Mullet. We also target unique species like Lookdown Fish and Filefish found around the Brownsville Ship Channel. I am flexible with pickup locations to better accommodate your plans.
