Captain Bill, a lifelong Pensacola resident, has spent over 25 years navigating the waters around Perdido Key and Orange Beach. His extensive fishing experience extends beyond the local area to places like Key West, the Marquesas Islands, Sebastian Inlet, Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River, Apalachicola, Sarasota Sound, Indian Pass, the Louisiana Marsh, and many lakes and bays in between. Both Bill and his wife Monica are licensed captains who share a deep love for the outdoors. As a father of two boys, Bill takes great pleasure in teaching young anglers how to make the most of their fishing adventures.
After a successful career as a General Manager at a leading global retailer, Bill embraced his dream of becoming a full-time fishing guide. He is an IGFA Certified Captain, active member of the Coastal Conservation Association and the Orange Beach Fishing Association, and competes professionally on the IFA Redfish Tour. Licensed by the US Coast Guard since 2004, Captain Bill spends nearly every day on the water, expertly tracking the seasonal movements of this vibrant fishery.
“You only live once, but if you live it well, once is enough,” is a motto Captain Bill lives by. He offers flexible start locations to accommodate your needs and ensure a great experience.
Our captain Johnathan provided an outstanding adventure! We had an amazing time and caught some incredible fish. We’ll definitely be back for more. Since it was our first time fishing in Florida, we booked a trip with Capt. Jake, who was phenomenal. We began with lures, switched to jigging, and ended with live bait. Jake knows every nook and cranny of the bay, and we caught redfish, sea trout, mangrove snapper, and king mackerel. Can’t wait for our next trip—we’ll be calling him again!
For those looking for a great guide, I highly recommend Bill, who connected us with Captain Clay. We were three anglers focused on redfish using fly rods and lures. We found a massive school, and all three of us managed to land impressive fish. Along the way, we caught several other species and even secured enough fish for dinner. Captain Clay was an excellent guide, and we would happily fish with him again.
Jonathan was incredible—he knows all the best spots. We had a fantastic time and would definitely use him and this service again. Captain Jake also did a fantastic job putting us on the fish. I had plenty of chances to hook big ones; maybe next time I’ll land them. It was definitely worth it.

Like all our excursions, this trip comes with one of the region’s rare "Catch Fish GUARANTEE." Our experienced Captains have spent their entire lives fishing these waters and are confident in their ability to ensure you catch fish—if not, your next trip with us is completely free.
During an offshore trip, you will venture up to 9 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on the season, target species may include Red Snapper, Sharks, Grouper, Triggerfish, Cobia, Mackerel, or Mahi Mahi. Since conditions vary daily, your Captain will adapt the techniques to maximize your chance of success. Baits used can be live, artificial, or previously frozen, depending on what’s most effective for the day.
