Captain Bill, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, has been exploring the waters around Perdido Key and Orange Beach for more than 25 years. Beyond his extensive local expertise, he has also fished in diverse locations such as Key West, the Marquesas Islands, Sebastian Inlet, Mosquito Lagoon, the Indian River, Apalachicola, Sarasota Sound, Indian Pass, and the Louisiana Marsh, along with numerous lakes and waterways in between. Alongside his wife Monica, who is also a licensed captain, they both share a deep passion for outdoor adventures. As a father of two boys, Bill takes particular joy in mentoring young fishermen, helping them make the most of each outing on the water.
After a successful tenure as a General Manager for a leading global retailer, Bill pursued a lifelong dream of working full-time as a fishing guide. He holds an IGFA Certification, is an active member of the Coastal Conservation Association and the Orange Beach Fishing Association, and competes professionally on the IFA Redfish Tour. With a USCG Captain’s license since 2004, Captain Bill dedicates nearly every day to tracking the rhythms and habits of this rich fishery.

Our experience with Captain Johnathan was fantastic! We enjoyed every moment and caught some incredible fish. We’ll definitely return for another trip. Having never fished in Florida before, we teamed up with Capt. Jake, who guided us perfectly. Starting with lures, moving to jigging, and ending with live bait, he skillfully navigated every nook and cranny in the bay. We landed redfish, sea trout, mangrove snapper, and king mackerel. Looking forward to the next vacation and hunting fish with him again!
Bill introduced us to Captain Clay for a redfish expedition with fly rods and lures. We found a huge school of redfish, hooked up with three solid catches, and enjoyed a variety of other species which made for a great dinner. Captain Clay was an excellent guide, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.

You can cancel without any fee up to 48 hours before your scheduled trip and get a credit added to your account. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and given to the guide. Canceling on the same day or not showing up will result in charging the full trip amount to your payment method.
All rods, reels, and tackle are provided; however, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you'd like to use during the trip.

During an offshore trip, you will venture up to 9 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on the season, you may target species such as Red Snapper, Sharks, Grouper, Triggerfish, Cobia, Mackerel, or Mahi Mahi. Each day’s conditions vary, and your Captain will adapt the strategy to maximize your chances of success. Bait options include live, artificial, or previously frozen, ensuring the most effective approach tailored to the current situation.
