Captain Bill, a Pensacola native, boasts over 25 years of experience fishing the waters around Perdido Key and Orange Beach. Beyond his extensive local knowledge, he has also cast his line in diverse locations such as Key West, the Marquesas Islands, Sebastian Inlet, Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River, Apalachicola, Sarasota Sound, Indian Pass, the marshes of Louisiana, and numerous lakes and waterways in between. Both Bill and his wife, Monica, hold Captain licenses and share a deep love for outdoor adventures. With two sons of his own, Bill takes great joy in mentoring young anglers, helping them make the most of every fishing trip.
After a successful tenure as a General Manager at the world's largest retailer, Bill embraced the chance to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a full-time fishing guide. He is an IGFA Certified Captain, is affiliated with the Coastal Conservation Association, the Orange Beach Fishing Association, and competes professionally on the IFA Redfish Tour. Holding a USCG Captain's license since 2004, Bill spends nearly every day on the water, tracking the habits of this incredible fishery. As he puts it, "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough."
Our guides offer flexible starting points to fit your needs. Many guests have praised Captain Jonathan for his expertise and dedication, noting memorable experiences and impressive catches. For first-timers in Florida, Captain Jake is highly recommended; his deep knowledge of the bay's structures and fishing spots has led to successful trips catching redfish, sea trout, mangrove snapper, and king mackerel. Anglers have expressed excitement about returning for future adventures with him.
Bill also connected us with Captain Clay, who guided a trio fishing with fly rods and lures. They encountered a large school of redfish, with all three anglers landing quality catches, along with a variety of other species that provided a great dinner. Captain Clay's skills made the outing exceptional, and we'd gladly book him again.
Guests frequently commend Jonathan’s ability to find the best spots, ensuring a fun and rewarding time. Similarly, Captain Jake helped many land exciting fish, offering multiple chances at big catches. While sometimes those elusive trophy fish get away, the experience is always worthwhile.

This adventure takes place in the calm and protected waters of the back bays or the intracoastal waterway. Depending on conditions and recent success, we utilize both live and artificial bait on our inshore trips. The species we target include Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Pompano, Sharks, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mackerel, and more, varying by season.
Every day brings different conditions, and your Captain will tailor the fishing strategy to maximize productivity. Whether you’re sight fishing in the clear, shallow waters or pursuing Snapper, Sharks, or Grouper in depths around 40 feet, the local bays provide a rich and diverse fishing experience for our guests.
