I'm someone who has always been passionate about the water and fishing. Ever since I was 18 and got my first boat, you could usually find me casting a line in a nearby lake or river whenever I had the chance. I’m married with two kids and originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Over a decade ago, I relocated to Florida, where my enthusiasm for fishing and the water only deepened. I even became a certified scuba diver, but I felt drawn to do more. After years of working as a mechanic and feeling stuck, I finally decided to pursue my true passion. Becoming a fishing guide was a dream I held onto for a long time, and I took the leap to make it a reality. Swapping my tools for a fishing rod turned out to be the best choice I've ever made. I genuinely enjoy what I do and love sharing that excitement and joy of fishing with others.

You can cancel your booking free of charge if done at least 7 days prior to your trip, with the amount being credited back to your account. If you cancel within a week of the trip, the deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
Be sure to pack sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses for your trip. We recommend wearing long-sleeved SPF shirts for added protection. Complimentary water is provided onboard, but you’re welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks. Alcohol is permitted in moderation; however, please refrain from bringing hard liquor or any glass containers. And remember—bananas are strictly prohibited at all times!
A First Mate will be present to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout your journey. Our Mates work diligently to enhance your experience, so tipping between 15-20% is customary and greatly appreciated.

This outing is perfect for families, and Captain Dave warmly welcomes children aboard. As a parent himself, he loves handing fishing poles to kids and seeing their faces light up with joy when they catch a fish! If you’re bringing little ones and don’t have a child-sized life vest, just ask—there’s likely one available on the boat.
The charter boat operates under a federal permit and includes your fishing license in the trip, so all you need to do is get a good night’s rest, wake up ready, and show up prepared for an incredible day of fishing. Fun and great memories are guaranteed!
