Growing up in Pass Christian, Mississippi, my connection with nature has been a lifelong journey. My passion for fishing took root by spending countless hours along pond shores, piers, and rocky jetties. Once I started venturing out on a boat, the fish of Wolf River and Portage Bayou quickly became my primary focus—especially after I learned to tow the boat to the launch all on my own! Encouraged by my supportive parents to pursue higher education, I enrolled at Mississippi State University, where I majored in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture. It was the perfect fit for someone deeply passionate about the outdoors.
In 2020, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree and then continued my academic path in the fall by joining the coastal science master’s program at the University of Southern Mississippi. This step brought me closer to the waters I cherish and allowed me to refine both my fishing and naturalist abilities. My master’s research focused on marsh grass and how the design and construction of piers impact its growth and sustainability.
After completing my master’s degree in 2022, I began working as a Shrimp and Crab scientist with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources. This role enabled me to advocate for the abundant natural resources and the vibrant fishing communities of Mississippi. By spring 2025, I transitioned to guiding full-time, eager to share the unique coastal adventures of the Mississippi Gulf Coast with others. I offer flexible start locations to ensure your experience is tailored to your needs.

Fishing the Bays, Bayous, and Inshore Reefs
Targeted Species: Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, White Trout, and Ground Mullet
Our inshore fishing excursions provide an excellent opportunity to experience the water and pursue a diverse selection of delicious fish throughout the year. Whether you're a novice looking for your first fishing adventure or an experienced angler, this trip caters to all skill levels. We generally employ light tackle and use both live and dead bait, when available, either on the bottom or suspended beneath a popping cork.
The fishing locations include a variety of spots such as bays, bayous, reefs, and bridges. We select the best areas depending on the season, fish activity, and your personal preferences regarding target species.
All essentials are included in the trip price: fuel, fishing licenses, rods and reels, tackle, bait, ice, a separate cooler stocked with bottled water, and fish cleaning services.
