I spent my childhood saltwater fishing around Cocodrie, LA, and neighboring areas. In 1991, at age 11, I started spending my summers in Destin. After graduating from high school in 1998, I made Destin my permanent home. The following year, I earned my first captain’s license (100-ton Master) while working aboard the Sea Blaster in Destin, FL.
In 2001, I purchased a 40-passenger vessel used for snorkeling adventures and dolphin watching tours along the Emerald Coast. After a challenging hurricane season in 2005, I generously donated that boat to the Destin Fishing and History Museum, where its wheelhouse still welcomes visitors at the entrance.
By 2008, our business was established with a single bay boat. Since then, we expanded to a fleet of four boats, offering a variety of fishing experiences including inshore, offshore, and bay excursions. Our 52-foot Hatteras Sportfisher is fully permitted for federal offshore waters, which allows us to access less pressured fishing grounds beyond state jurisdictions. For quick access to hot spots, our 31-foot Cape Horn, powered by twin 350hp engines, gets you there fast.
Our journey began with a 30-foot Parker center console equipped with twin 200s—just some great fishing memories, great people, and warm hospitality! We truly appreciate everyone who chooses to fish with us and share in this experience. Whether you’re bringing home a successful catch or just enjoying the day, we strive to make every trip memorable.
Captains Rusty, Christian, and the dedicated deck crew Shag and Tres are committed to providing excellent service and ensuring your needs are met. We value your support and look forward to welcoming you back, especially during the Red Snapper season.
We take pride in preparing thoroughly for each charter, working hard to ensure you have a phenomenal and professional outing. Whether you fish with Captain Christian or Captain Andrew, rest assured you’ll be guided by experienced professionals who care about your success and enjoyment.
You can cancel without any charge if you do so at least 14 days prior to your trip, and the amount will be refunded as a credit to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or no-shows will incur the full trip cost, which will be charged to your card.

What is Included:
Your adventure begins at the docks in Destin's Harborwalk Village, where you’ll meet your captain or one of our friendly associates. Depending on the season, your charter boat departs promptly at 7am during spring and fall, or 6am throughout the summer months.
The trip kicks off with a scenic cruise through Destin Harbor, heading out into the Destin Pass. Once we reach the end of the pass, we’ll spend roughly 30 minutes gathering live bait, essential for a successful fishing experience. After securing enough bait, we venture into the Gulf of Mexico to target reef or pelagic fish, adapting to the activity of the fish that day. We may stay put at a productive spot or move on to maximize your catch.
Our bottom fishing can yield species like Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, White Snapper, Triggerfish, Groupers, and Amberjack during their open seasons. For those interested in trolling, expect opportunities for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Bonito Tuna. Shark fishing is also a thrilling option on this charter!
Following your fishing session, we’ll head back to the docks. This is a great time to unwind with friends, enjoy a refreshing drink, and reflect on the day’s adventures during the short trip back.
Upon docking, your captain and crew will expertly clean your catch so you can take it home fresh. You also have the fantastic option to bring your freshly caught fish to most restaurants in the Harbor. Many will prepare your catch as part of their menu, delivering a unique dining experience that perfectly concludes your day on the water!
Please note, this vessel is federally permitted for your peace of mind and safety.
