Raised in St. Petersburg, FL, Captain Frankie developed a passion for fishing from a very young age, exploring the marinas, bridges, and piers around his hometown. Like many, life’s challenges temporarily shifted his focus away from his favorite pastime. Despite this, his enthusiasm for the water and the thrill of reeling in big fish never faded. Recently, Frankie made his dream a reality by becoming a certified U.S. Coast Guard captain. Embark on a fishing adventure with him in the stunning Tampa Bay, where he’ll guide you through the excitement of a bite, the battle to land your catch, and the rewarding feeling of landing a personal best. Captain Frankie’s expertise and dedication ensure that you’ll be fishing in the right spots. Many guests have appreciated his commitment and plan to return for more memorable trips.

These trips focus on targeting limits of a delicious species, with Captain Frankie ensuring you keep the largest catch within your limit. Depending on the conditions and how active the honey holes are, you might return to the dock with a full limit of impressively large snapper!
Fishing doesn’t always guarantee a catch, but Captain Frankie is dedicated to going the extra mile to provide an outstanding experience, offering one of the closest things to a guarantee you can find.
The trip involves a short ride offshore to one of Captain Frankie’s specially marked GPS locations. The prime fishing spots are typically offshore structures, such as reefs and live bottoms, where both grouper and snapper species gather near the sea floor in large numbers. You’ll most likely use a bottom rig setup with a heavier rod and a substantial weight attached below.
While there’s no hook setting involved, you’ll quickly know when the fight begins! Captain Frankie’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping you achieve your fishing goals for the day.
