That day the sea was quite rough, but we managed to catch two impressive Wahoo weighing 60 and 50 pounds. The crew was fantastic, assisting us with everything from delicious food to moving safely around the boat and handling the catch. This was hands-down the best fishing experience I’ve ever had, and I’m definitely planning to return and fish again with Blue Sky.
Our time with Captain Jorge and Alex was unforgettable. The morning began with coffee and breakfast tacos as we headed out on the Pacific side in search of Mahi. We landed a few keepers and some smaller tuna, then brought our fresh catch to Alexander’s restaurant near the marina, where they prepared the fish in several tasty ways. I highly recommend getting on any trips offered by Jim and his team!
The owner provided clear and thorough information via email before our trip, including details on where to go and what to bring. We were fortunate to catch a trophy Mahi, which we then enjoyed freshly cooked at Alexander’s in four different preparations. Captains Julio and Jorge, with over 20 years of experience fishing these waters, are incredibly knowledgeable. We’re already looking forward to booking again for the Marlin season—thank you once again!

Where do I even start? Absolutely incredible! From boarding to disembarking, it was a five-star experience. Captain David proved to be a true professional, and the guides were highly skilled, friendly, and made the day unforgettable. We encountered sharks, marlin, and even a sea lion, plus watched dolphins putting on a lively show and witnessed a stunning whale breach. Truly exceptional and highly recommended.

We enjoyed a great trip with a hard-working, accommodating crew focused on helping us catch fish. Although March isn’t the peak season for fishing in Cabo, we landed plenty of skipjack tuna and dorado. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely use this outfitter again.

If you cancel within the 7-day period before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your card.
