About Your Guide

Operating out of Fort Lauderdale, FL, we specialize in deep sea fishing charters. Whether you're aiming to reel in a prized trophy fish or simply want fresh seafood for dinner, we've got you covered. With many years of experience navigating these waters—from Pompano Beach down through the Keys along the entire southeastern coastline—Captain Hector and I (Captain Colton) know how to make your fishing trip unforgettable.

Your fishing journey takes place aboard our 36-foot Palmetto, equipped with powerful twin Honda 250 HP diesel engines. We take great pride in seeing the joy on our guests' faces when they land a catch during one of our excursions. Whether you're a seasoned fisherman or a complete beginner, we'll guide you step-by-step in mastering the techniques needed to hook that trophy fish you've been dreaming of.

If your goal is to have an amazing day out on the water, you've found the right crew. We offer flexibility with your departure point to best suit your needs. Everything went smoothly with perfect weather conditions—an excellent outing! The kids absolutely loved it, and my dad hasn’t stopped talking about the trip either! It was truly an awesome experience, and we’re already looking forward to booking again!

If you're eager to catch some impressive fish off the Fort Lauderdale coast, Captains Colton and Hector are your go-to guides. With extensive local knowledge and a deep passion for fishing, these professionals specialize in creating memorable angling experiences, ensuring you get on the bite.

The abundant waters of South Florida offer a diverse range of species depending on conditions, including King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Snapper, Grouper, and more. Whether you want the thrill of kite fishing for a trophy Sailfish or prefer dropping lines for feisty Mutton Snapper, your captains will expertly guide you to the prime fishing spots.

Your trip will incorporate various methods such as trolling, bottom fishing, drift fishing, and using either heavy or light tackle to maximize your chances of success. The boat comes fully outfitted with outriggers, a live bait well, GPS, fishfinder, and all necessary equipment to ensure a great day on the water.

Choose from these trip options to suit your schedule and targets:

  • Half-day (4 hours): Ideal for a quick offshore excursion focusing on Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, and Vermilion Snapper around reefs and wrecks.
  • Six-hour trip: Offers a balanced mix of offshore and reef fishing, with opportunities to catch Black, Gag, and Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, and Yellowtail Snapper.
  • Full-day (8 hours): Designed for serious anglers aiming for deep-water trophies like Sailfish, Wahoo, and Tuna, while still allowing for Grouper and Snapper action.

The fishing takes place aboard a 28-foot Whitewater center console, a perfect blend of speed and comfort. It accommodates up to six passengers, although four to five is recommended for the best experience. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided along with your fishing license for the day. At trip’s end, the crew will fillet and clean your catch at no additional cost—just remember to tip your captain for his dedicated service.

Water is supplied onboard, but you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks (please avoid glass containers). Children aged four and up are invited, making this an excellent choice for family outings. Should you need a child-sized life vest, simply request one ahead of time to confirm availability.

Reserve your spot today and experience fishing in Fort Lauderdale like never before!
