One memorable day on the water featured rough seas but rewarded us with two impressive Wahoo, weighing 60 and 50 pounds respectively. The crew was fantastic, providing excellent food and plenty of help, from moving safely around the boat to assisting in landing the catch. This has been hands down my best fishing trip ever, and I’m already planning another trip with Blue Sky.
We had a fantastic time fishing with Captain Jorge and Alex. Our morning started with coffee and breakfast tacos as we headed out to the Pacific side of Cabo in search of Mahi. We landed a few keepers along with some smaller tuna, then brought our fresh catch to Alexander’s, conveniently located across from the marina, where they prepared the fish in several delicious ways. I highly recommend booking any of the trips offered by Jim and his team!
The owner provided clear and detailed instructions beforehand, including where to go and what to bring, which made for a smooth trip. We were fortunate enough to catch a trophy Mahi and enjoyed having it cooked freshly at Alexander’s in four different styles right by the marina. Captains Julio and Jorge bring over 20 years of experience fishing these waters, making every trip both productive and educational. We’re already looking forward to coming back for marlin season!

Though it wasn’t the peak season, the crew was transparent about expectations and worked endlessly to find fish, resulting in some great catches of Dorado. This trip was especially meaningful as it was designed to introduce beginners to fishing while spending quality time together on the water – and it was a huge success! Where do I even start? Truly incredible! From the moment we stepped onboard, it felt like a five-star experience. Captain David showed his expertise, and the guides were friendly and skilled, elevating the entire day. We were lucky enough to catch a shark and a marlin, meet a sea lion, watch dolphins perform, and witness a breathtaking whale breach. Absolutely unforgettable and highly recommended.

The crew was hardworking and accommodating, focused on getting us on the fish. Although March may not be the prime fishing season in Cabo, we still managed to catch plenty of skipjack tuna and dorado. It was a wonderful trip from start to finish, and I would definitely use this team again.
You can cancel your booking without any charges up to 7 days prior to your trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 7 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will incur the full trip cost charged to your payment method.
