If you’re eager to catch some extraordinary freshwater fish in South Florida, join Captain Roy for an unforgettable Peacock Bass adventure! Despite their name, Peacock Bass aren’t true bass; they are large cichlids native to South America, thriving in the warm freshwater habitats of countries like Brazil and Colombia. Although they are considered invasive in Florida, anglers adore them for their fierce fighting spirit and vibrant hues of yellow, green, and orange.

Beyond Peacock Bass, this trip offers the chance to target Florida’s state freshwater fish, the Largemouth Bass, as well as Cichlids—another fascinating invasive species that provide exciting action on a variety of lures and bait. Cichlids are among the most captivating freshwater fish you can catch, making this outing packed with thrilling opportunities.
