Being a passionate Bass fisherman from the beginning, I competed in numerous tournaments across the Everglades. I take great pride in my deep understanding of the Everglades ecosystem, its unique wildlife, and especially the habits and habitats of Bass. I know precisely where to fish and the best techniques to catch them in this incredible environment. I’m eager to share this expertise and make your fishing trip unforgettable. Your guide can also accommodate flexible starting points to suit your needs. Finding the right captain can be daunting when visiting from out of state—let me make the decision easier for you. You can cancel without any fees if you do so at least 10 days before your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 10 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in a charge for the full trip cost applied to your card.
Please bring snacks and drinks for your trip. To protect yourself from the sun, we recommend a hat, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve shirt. During the summer months, a light raincoat is advisable.
All necessary fishing equipment is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, and water. Domestic or wild shiners can be purchased separately as bait, charged per dozen according to the current market price.
Bait recommendations will be given based on the trip’s length and the size of your group prior to departure.

When it comes to fishing methods, Dave specializes in both artificial lure fishing and live bait fishing. Before your charter, he’ll discuss which option suits your experience and goals best. Please note that live bait incurs an additional fee, ranging between $10.00 and $24.00 per dozen.
All necessary gear—including rods, reels, tackles, and lures—is provided. Dave’s 22-foot Ranger Bass Boat is equipped with bottled water and ice for your convenience, though you’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks onboard. Just be sure to bring your valid Florida freshwater fishing license, and you’re ready to go!
