Captain Trevor hails from Destin, Florida, where he grew up immersed in the vibrant surfing and fishing community thanks to his father’s surf shop. Surrounded by seasoned watermen throughout his childhood, he developed an early passion for fishing, inspired by the local fishing icons who frequently visited the shop. After graduating high school, Trevor answered the call to serve by joining the Air Force, completing several deployments before transitioning to the reserves to focus on his true ambition—becoming a fishing guide on the stunning Emerald Coast.
Guided by experienced tournament-winning captains and well-known local fishermen, Trevor sharpened his skills as a nearshore fishing guide. You can cancel without any charges up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited to your account. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
It is recommended to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, a raincoat, and plenty of water, drinks, and snacks.

Your outing begins with the option to catch fresh live bait, ensuring you’re fully equipped for the day ahead. Then, you’ll venture out to prime fishing spots, including rock piles, reefs, and wrecks, targeting species like Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Gag Grouper, and Amberjack. Techniques range from bottom fishing to drift fishing and heavy tackle methods to maximize your catch. For adrenaline-pumping action, you can troll lures or live bait to hook into fast fighters such as Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle, known for their powerful runs. Seasonal visits from Tarpon and Redfish provide exciting sight-fishing opportunities along the shallow beach areas.
The fishing takes place aboard a 23-foot Hanson center console, powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, and equipped with a Cobia tower, a 50-gallon live well, power pole, jack plate, spot-lock trolling motor, and a Simrad fish finder/GPS system—everything you need to enhance your chances of success. To make the experience even more enjoyable, a Bluetooth sound system is on board so you can listen to your favorite music while fishing.
Captain Trevor supplies all rods, reels, and tackle. At the end of the trip, he will clean your catch so you can bring home fresh fillets. Live bait is available for a small additional fee. In case of weather-related cancellations, your deposit is fully refundable. Feel free to bring beer on board, but please avoid glass containers.
