Originally from France, I relocated to Louisiana over 36 years ago. I once owned a well-known restaurant in New Orleans and appeared on several TV programs, including shows with Martha Stewart. After stepping away from the restaurant industry, I pursued a career as a Commercial Aviation pilot, flying for a private family. Fishing has been a lifelong passion, and I’ve had the opportunity to fish across five continents. For more than three decades, I have been an avid angler in Louisiana, especially passionate about fly fishing.
My main base of operations is Bayou Bienvenue, and thanks to my expertise, I’m often able to spot fish that others might miss—earning me the nickname “fish whisperer” in the area. Alongside flying large aircraft, I also enjoy paragliding. When you book with my charter guide service, you’re guaranteed a fantastic experience on the water. I’m flexible regarding your preferred starting point to make your trip as convenient as possible.

You can cancel without any charges up to 3 days prior to your scheduled trip and have the amount credited back to your account. If you cancel within 3 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a full charge for the trip applied to your card.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for your convenience. However, we suggest that you bring along sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suited to the weather, and any personal gear you wish to use during the trip.
To dedicated anglers, I carefully consider not just the weather, wind, and tides (or currents), but also atmospheric pressure before choosing the exact fishing spots to maximize your catch.
We typically set out between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on the season and, of course, your preference.
I ensure an ample supply of live bait is available, alongside a wide selection of artificial lures. The three main fishing techniques we use are fishing beneath a popping cork, with a bottom rig, or employing topwater artificial baits.
Chilled water and soft drinks are always provided to keep you refreshed. For full-day trips, you can expect a delicious lunch and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the adventure.
