Another experience with Captain Andrew and his first mate Ace highlighted their dedication and hard work. Despite not catching any fish that day, the boat was impeccably maintained and fully prepared for a great day on the Pacific Ocean. Their relentless efforts to locate fish were commendable, and guests still enjoyed witnessing abundant marine life. Though the catch was elusive, the fun and professional atmosphere earned top marks, and many look forward to returning to reel in that big one soon.

This full-day pelagic sportfishing excursion is designed for those seeking an exhilarating challenge. You'll venture far offshore in search of some of the Pacific’s toughest and fastest species, such as Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Pacific Barracuda, and White Seabass. These fish are not only strong fighters but also delicious, whether served as fresh sashimi or grilled to perfection. To land these prized catches, you’ll employ a mix of trolling and drift-fishing techniques—stay alert, because when the rod tip bends, it’s time to bring your best effort!
Given the variety of species targeted, you’ll switch between multiple fishing methods. This might include trolling at speed for Barracuda and Mahi Mahi, which favor lively baits and lures, bottom fishing near underwater structures for Rockfish and Amberjack, or casting lines for surface-feeding Bluefin Tuna. Captain Andrew customizes the trip based on the season, weather, and your preferences to maximize your chances of success.
