I'm Captain Matt, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, Florida, with a deep passion for fishing in this region. I've spent over 11 years working as a fishing guide, and before that, I gained experience as a deckhand. Captain Matt skillfully located numerous fish for us, and when the bite slowed in one spot, he quickly moved us to better areas, demonstrating his extensive knowledge and expertise. We had a great experience, catching several sizable snappers and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water.
You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being billed to your card.
All necessary gear will be provided for your trip. However, we suggest bringing along sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothing suitable for the weather, as well as any other personal items you may need.
Additionally, our 1st mate accompanies every trip and works for tips. A 20% tip is considered the industry standard!

Your journey will take place aboard a 26-foot Twin Vee catamaran, equipped with twin 150 HP Mercury engines. This roomy and stable vessel features top-of-the-line Garmin and Simrad electronics, a 55-gallon live bait tank, Yeti coolers to keep beverages chilled, and a stereo system so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while fishing. Additional amenities include a portable toilet and a swim ladder, ensuring your comfort throughout the trip. The boat accommodates up to six anglers and is designed for a smooth, efficient ride to the fishing spots.
Once offshore, you’ll explore a combination of public and private wrecks, coral formations, and rock reefs, targeting a variety of species such as Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and Vermillion Snapper. You'll also have the chance to catch swift predators like King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. Seasonal and environmental conditions may bring opportunities to catch Cobia, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Redfish, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Barracuda, and more. Whether you’re aiming to fill your cooler with fresh fillets or enjoy the excitement of catch-and-release, these waters consistently offer action.
All fishing gear, including rods, reels, and tackle, is provided. Fresh live bait is caught at the beginning of each trip, complemented by a wide selection of premium lures. Your fishing license is included for everyone onboard, and chilled water is available on ice. An onboard mate is present to assist throughout the journey and will clean and fillet your catch at the dock upon return. The mate works for tips, and a 20% gratuity is customary and appreciated for their dedicated service.
