Captain Justin and his trusty first mate, Barry, are lifelong island residents. Their families have been fishing these local waters for over eight generations. Prior to launching their business together, Barry and Justin honed their skills fishing from a modest 12-foot aluminum boat, venturing out into the Gulf on numerous occasions. During their teenage years, both worked as deckhands aboard charter boats, gaining invaluable experience before eventually becoming boat owners themselves. With deep-rooted knowledge of these waters and prime fishing spots, they are unmatched guides in the area.
They formed a dynamic partnership and consistently ranked among the top performers in the charter fishing community for many years. Even now, whenever time permits, they continue to fish these waters and are proud parents to rodeo and tournament champions. The island’s ninth generation is growing up embracing the same passion for fishing that Barry and Justin share. Dauphin Island is close to their hearts, and they look forward to the chance to demonstrate their expertise and introduce visitors to this remarkable fishery.
