About Your Guide

Growing up fishing in South Florida sparked my deep passion for the water, which led me to pursue a career in the marine industry and earn my Captain’s License. I acquired my boat from a close friend who introduced me to the exciting world of fishing tournaments. I began guiding part-time alongside him, gaining experience at various spots throughout South Florida.

Over time, I extensively upgraded my boat, adding features like a wireless trolling motor, new dashboards, a chart plotter, a powerful 250 Yamaha SHO engine in 2020, twin blade power poles, a foam floor deck, custom seats, and a complete boat wrap. These enhancements have kept my boat looking modern and well-maintained despite its age.

While working at the boat yard, I connected with a fellow captain involved with a nonprofit called Freedom Fighter Outdoors. I dedicated my boat to support their mission, organizing bass fishing tournaments and taking veterans out for fishing trips once or twice a month. Unfortunately, the pandemic severely affected the organization, but I remain committed to helping it recover and thrive again.

Since acquiring my boat, I’ve competed in numerous bass clubs and tournaments monthly. As a newcomer, I had to learn mostly through a handful of friends and personal experience, since advice was not always readily offered. My dedication paid off with several wins, big catches, and top-five finishes. I continue to compete actively while striving to improve my skills.

My time spent guiding clients has been incredibly rewarding, as I genuinely enjoy teaching fishing techniques and learning from anglers from other states. Eventually, I decided to turn my passion into a full-time career as a fishing guide.

Booking a trip with me means more than just fishing—you'll be welcomed aboard like an old friend. Expect a smooth boat ride with full guidance, from baiting hooks to handling your catches, along with refreshments throughout the day. I also share insights about the rich wildlife and varied waterways of South Florida to enhance your experience. I look forward to being your fishing guide!

Addressing Feedback

In response to a mixed review, I want to clarify that a full-day trip was provided as promised. Weather conditions affected the peacock bass bite, which was communicated beforehand, and the transition between fishing and iguana hunting is included in trip time. Safety and local regulations guide the hunting locations, ensuring compliance with law enforcement. While some iguana were missed due to limited visibility and nesting habits, we maximized opportunities on the water. I always aim to exceed client expectations and am open to feedback to improve future trips.
