You can cancel without any fees if you do so at least 7 days prior to your trip and get a credit refund to your account. If you cancel less than a week before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. For cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you do not show up, the full trip amount will be charged to your card.

Embark on an exciting fishing adventure from Whale Harbor with Captain Larry, just a short 30-minute ride to the prime locations of the Gulf Stream. Captain Larry and his team ensure you spend minimal time traveling and maximum time fishing. Your journey can take you up to 30 miles offshore, where you’ll have the chance to catch a variety of species including dolphin (mahi-mahi), blackfin tuna, amberjack, wahoo, shark, marlin, sailfish, king mackerel, and more!
If dolphin fishing excites you, plan your trip between May and October when these fish are most abundant. The charter boat uses rigged baits and lures to find schools of dolphin weighing between 5 and 50 pounds. Once located, the feeding frenzy these fish create is an unforgettable experience. Since mahi-mahi is also delicious to eat, you can keep your catch for dinner. The crew will fillet your fish onboard, and you can even arrange to have your catch prepared at local restaurants.
From November through April, Captain Larry focuses on sailfish using live bait on light tackle. The trip begins with catching baitfish, typically ballyhoo, en route to deeper waters—a fun and exciting way to start your day, with the promise of landing much larger fish. Ballyhoo are attracted to the surface with chum and caught using cast nets or tiny hair hooks. After filling the bait well, the boat heads to the reef’s outer edge to begin the real action. Hooking a 7-foot tail-walking sailfish on light tackle is a heart-pounding experience you won’t forget. The charter practices catch and release for all billfish and supports no-kill fish mounts upon request.
