Captain Kevin has spent nearly his whole life fishing along the Texas Gulf Coast. He focuses on catching Trophy Speckled Trout using artificial lures but frequently lands redfish, trout, and flounder as well. Although based in the Galveston Bay area, he is available for fishing trips in Matagorda, Corpus Christi, Port Mansfield, and South Padre Island upon request. His mission is to provide a memorable fishing adventure while sharing his expertise with clients. Your guide can accommodate flexible starting locations. The initial payment for this journey cannot be refunded unless the cancellation is due to weather conditions. If you cancel on the day of the trip or fail to show up, the entire remaining cost will be charged to your card.
Please remember to bring sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, and sunglasses. A Texas saltwater fishing license is required. Make sure to have your wading gear, including waders, boots, a belt, and stingray guards. Don't forget to pack food and drinks, and bring an ice chest to take home your catch of the day. Bait will be available at market price. Ice will be provided to keep your food, drinks, and fish fresh. All tackle, including rods, reels, and artificial lures, is included.

While live bait can be purchased after launching, Captain Kevin will supply top-quality artificial lures, share secret techniques, and provide expert guidance to help you hook your next trophy.
Your trip will begin at one of the best boat ramps in the area, selected based on weather, sea conditions, and fish activity. From there, you'll set out aboard Captain Kevin’s 23-foot Parker, equipped with a powerful 250 Suzuki engine, a trolling motor for quiet approaches, coolers, and cushioned seating for comfort. All necessary gear and tackle, including rods and reels, ice for your catch and refreshments, artificial lures, and even fish cleaning and bagging at the end of the day, are provided. To top it off, Captain Kevin will capture photos of your catches as memorable keepsakes.
Guests only need to bring their sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, sunglasses, any desired food and drinks, and optional wading gear if they want to wade fish (such as waders, boots, belt, and stingray guards). Don't forget to bring an ice chest to transport your catch home. Also, all participants aged 16 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License.
