This fishing charter, managed by Captain Scottie, stands out as one of the premier options in San Diego. Known for exceptional customer service, state-of-the-art boats and equipment, and a skilled crew, it has earned impressive 5-star ratings. Captain Scottie, originally from Orange County and coming from a fishing family, has a deep passion for the water. He grew up spending summers with his father, targeting Halibut in the bay and pursuing pelagic species offshore. Now settled in San Diego, he dedicates himself to sharing his expertise and tailoring each trip to fit the specific wishes of his guests. Whether you're keen to explore Southern California’s fishing grounds or take in the scenic beauty of San Diego from the water, Captain Scottie ensures a memorable and exciting adventure.
One guest praised Travis, a first-rate guide who was attentive, supportive, and most importantly, helped them find plenty of fish. Their day out, shared with their son and his two Marine friends, was unforgettable. A few suggestions for future guests: bring a portable restroom as the absence of one made things uncomfortable; be clear about the types of fish you expect to catch and your fishing experience before booking. There was some disappointment when the captain left a productive fishing spot for another boat before the limit was reached, and expectations about having a private charter were also unclear.
You can cancel your booking without any charges if done at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be returned as credit to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or missed appointments will result in a full charge to your payment method.
