You may cancel your reservation at no cost if done at least three days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be refunded as account credit. If you cancel within three days of your trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip as well as no-shows will incur a full charge on the card used for booking.
Please bring your own food and drinks for the trip; all other essentials will be supplied. We recommend packing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for sun protection. In cooler weather, it's a good idea to wear windbreaker jackets and pants to stay comfortable.
Join Captain Sam for the Hogfish Hunt, a distinctive 6-hour offshore fishing excursion departing from Belleair Bluffs. This three-quarter-day journey ventures 15 to 25 miles offshore targeting prized hogfish, with exciting chances to catch mangrove snapper, lane snapper, grunts, gag grouper (seasonal), as well as king and Spanish mackerel during their migration periods.
The fishing takes place aboard a robust 31-foot Contender Center Console, equipped with twin Suzuki 300HP engines and a livewell designed to keep your bait fresh throughout the trip. The boat comfortably holds up to 6 anglers and employs a combination of bottom fishing, trolling, and live bait tactics to help you land a great catch.
All fishing tackle is provided, and your catch will be professionally cleaned after the trip.
