Captain Brad, a Massachusetts native, embarked on his fishing journey after graduating from Princeton University and relocating to the Florida Keys in 1979. Over the years, he captained various corporate-owned sportfishing vessels that offered charters throughout the Caribbean. His annual routes included winters in the Florida Keys, springs on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, summers in St. Thomas, USVI, and several autumns fishing off the coast of Venezuela. His extensive experience gives him unparalleled knowledge of the Caribbean waters.
In 2002, Captain Brad launched his own business, commissioning the renowned Key West boat builder Claude Torres to craft a custom 43-foot charter boat, which has remained based in Key West ever since. More than 17 years later, he continues to operate daily charters from Key West and explores more exotic destinations to fish. His 43-foot vessel is widely regarded as one of the best-designed sportfishing boats in Key West.
With nearly four decades as a professional charter captain, Brad’s fishing expeditions have spanned from Nova Scotia to South America and as far as Australia. Though he’s experienced fishing in diverse locations and pursued countless species, the Keys remain his true home.
