My journey to the Florida Keys began with the goal of growing my business, which included purchasing a larger boat for chartering and fully embracing my passion for spending time on the water. I'm especially enthusiastic about reef fishing and lobstering. I thrive on adventure and am always eager to discover and enjoy all that the Keys have to offer. The experience becomes even more memorable when shared with others.
The path that brought me here is quite a tale, but to keep it brief: boating has always been in my blood, with a deep connection to the sea. For 20 years, I worked in human resources within large corporations, while chartering was mostly a part-time pursuit. Eventually, I chose to pursue a more fulfilling life and followed my heart south to the Lower Keys in Florida.
For several years now, I’ve been operating my current vessel from Stock Island, just a short distance from downtown Key West, which serves as a perfect launch point for a variety of adventures. On every trip, guests are warmly welcomed by my first mate, Siba, a lively Parson Russell Terrier who loves attention and keeps a watchful eye on snorkeling and fishing activities. At other times, she perfectly complements the laid-back vibe you’ll find on board.
Once you book a trip, I typically reach out within 12 hours to connect, especially swiftly if it’s a last-minute arrangement. For those who book early, I’ll check in about a day before your trip with all the details you’ll need to prepare. Upon arrival at the dock and once on board, I provide a brief safety overview to ensure everyone has a secure and enjoyable time. Then, the journey of exploration begins.
Janis and her boat provided an outstanding experience! She took my 9-year-old son and me out for our first lobstering excursion, and we hauled in an impressive number of lobsters, many of which we were able to bring home. You can cancel at no cost if done at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a full charge to your payment method.
Please bring non-spray sunscreen, hats, long-sleeved clothing, sunscreen, lunch, snacks, and beverages. If you are sensitive to motion sickness or not accustomed to boating, consider starting prevention the night before and taking a non-drowsy medication about an hour before your trip begins. Keep in mind that spray sunscreen is not allowed on the boat.

A cooler stocked with ice is available for your beverages (please bring no glass), and any fish caught will be filleted and cleaned for you (while scaling is not included).
To maximize fishing opportunities, we limit groups to four anglers. However, larger groups with some non-fishing guests can be accommodated up to six people.
