You can cancel your booking at no cost if done at least 14 days prior to your trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the trip, the deposit will be retained by the guide. Canceling on the same day as the trip or not showing up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your card.
All necessary gear will be provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothing suitable for the weather. Feel free to bring any personal equipment you'd like to use during the trip. Please note that Mexican fishing licenses and permits required for fishing in the Coronado Islands are not included and will be added to the final trip price.

The trip is conducted aboard Captain Zeek’s custom-built 49-foot Shaw-Westport sportfisher, an officially USCG UPV inspected vessel that combines robust offshore performance with onboard comfort. Equipped with GPS, radar, outriggers, a live bait well, and advanced electronics, this boat guarantees a productive day on the water. Below deck, you’ll find full-size beds, a dining area, a kitchen, a refrigerator, a complete bathroom with a shower, and air conditioning—providing a comfortable retreat between fishing sessions. Accommodating up to six guests, the boat offers ample space for the entire group to relax and fish with ease.
The fishing methods on this trip typically include a mix of trolling, jigging, popping, and bottom fishing, adjusted according to seasonal patterns, fish behavior, and location. With over twenty years of local expertise, Captain Zeek adapts techniques to maximize your catch. Species commonly targeted include Yellowtail Amberjack, White Seabass, Rockfish, Lingcod, Pacific Barracuda, and Halibut. All necessary equipment—rods, reels, lures, and tackle—is provided, along with freshly caught live bait to keep the action going. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are included throughout the day. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol in moderation, with the exception of glass containers. To assist with rigging, gaffing, and operational tasks, a First Mate may be onboard; tipping 15–20% for their dedicated service is customary and appreciated.
Before departure, everyone in your party must purchase a California fishing license and obtain all required permits to fish in Mexican waters, including a valid passport. Captain Zeek will offer detailed instructions on the necessary documentation and how to acquire it in advance.
