Hello, I’m Captain Aaron from Aberdeen, Washington. Having been born and raised here, I’ve spent over three decades fishing in the southwestern waters of Washington. With 14 years of professional guiding under my belt and 15 summers of commercial fishing experience in Alaska, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the water. I initially started guiding to supplement my commercial fishing income and transitioned to full-time guiding in 2018 after retiring from Alaska commercial fishing in 2017.
I have a 5-year-old son who shares my love for fishing and occasionally joins me on trips. My fleet includes a 20-foot North River Scout jet sled, a 17-foot Pavati drift boat, and a 13-foot catamaran raft. I fish with a relaxed approach and enjoy sharing the skills I've developed over the years with my clients and aspiring anglers. Always eager to expand my expertise, fishing remains my true passion, occupying much of my time. Outside of fishing, I enjoy sports like basketball, baseball, and football.
When you book a trip with me, you can expect a fun and memorable experience on the water. I am flexible with start locations to accommodate your needs. One recent trip was a great success; I was able to put Alex and his friends on fish, and they had a fantastic time. Alex reminded me of myself at his age—completely immersed in fishing. It was a real pleasure to have them on board, and I look forward to many more great outings.
