About Your Guide

Hi, I’m Bryan, your dedicated fishing guide based in Lincoln City, focusing mainly on the Siletz River. Fishing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and now I’m excited to share that enthusiasm with you. I operate a 26-inch Alumaweld boat that comfortably seats up to six guests. Typically, I guide groups ranging from 2 to 6 people, and occasionally trips are shared with others. If you’re traveling alone or with just one other person, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to accommodate you!

I rely on advanced technology to help us locate fish, which really makes a difference. While others struggle, we’re bringing in great catches! When you book a trip with me, you can expect a hassle-free experience where everything is taken care of so you can fully enjoy your time on the water. Your only preparations are to secure your fishing license, wear sturdy traction shoes and a jacket, and simply show up!

My passion for fishing is contagious, and I believe the fish can sense it too. After relocating to Oregon from Chicago three years ago, fishing was high on my bucket list. Thanks to Bryan’s guidance and encouragement, my Labor Day trip resulted in catching a memorable 17-pound salmon. It was an unforgettable experience! By the end of the day, we had landed one impressive salmon and gathered 17 crab.

This trip offers a wonderful mix of scenic bay views, a glimpse of the ocean, and a fun combination of fishing and crabbing. We've already planned another ocean trip to target Coho salmon next time we return. Captain Bryan’s balance of motivation, entertainment, and expert teaching made the whole journey truly special. I’m already looking forward to our next outing!

Simply put: an amazing adventure! Friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, Bryan ensured our trip was fantastic. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for great fishing and memorable moments.

If you're planning a spring fishing adventure along the Oregon Coast, look no further than Captain Bryan's expert guidance. With years of professional experience, Captain Bryan leads trips launching from a private dock on the lower Siletz River, just a few minutes south of Lincoln City.

The local waters offer abundant opportunities to catch a variety of species including Salmon, Lingcod, Rockfish, Dungeness Crab, and more. Typically, fishing involves drifting and bottom fishing with light tackle within a couple of miles offshore, increasing your chances of a great catch.

We provide both 4-hour and 8-hour fishing trips, which sometimes conclude earlier when we reach our catch limit. Our secure, mostly private launch area is conveniently accessible, with ample parking for your vehicle.

Families are warmly welcomed on board! Kids can join the fun — just let us know if you need a child-sized life vest. Don’t forget to bring snacks to keep everyone energized and happy throughout the day.

The fishing vessel is a sturdy 26-foot Alumaweld Columbia, accommodating up to six passengers comfortably. It’s fully equipped with rods, reels, tackle, and lures to maximize your fishing experience. Live bait is available, though please check in advance if you’ll be catching it yourself. For groups of 2 or 4, we often organize shared trips, adding to the excitement and camaraderie.

Before heading out, be sure to purchase the appropriate local fishing and/or shellfish licenses, which can usually be obtained online or by asking your guide. Some species may be protected or require specific tags, so it’s important to be informed on the regulations.

For your comfort and safety, wear shoes with good grip and dress in warm layers to prepare for any weather. Essential items to bring include a camera, non-spray sunblock, hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Feel free to bring other beverages—moderate alcohol consumption is permitted, but please avoid hard liquor and glass containers.

Your unforgettable Oregon Coast fishing trip with Captain Bryan is just a booking away!
