Dress appropriately for the season. Never underestimate how chilly the mornings on the water can be. Be sure to check the hourly weather forecast to monitor temperature changes during our trip. If you're visiting Austin between October and March, it’s wise to bring some heavy winter clothing just in case. Although rare, temperatures can sometimes drop into the 30s during October and March. Bring rain gear if the forecast calls for it, along with sunglasses (preferably polarized), snacks or food, a camera, sunscreen, and insect repellent. I will supply plenty of cold bottled water. All necessary equipment is included in the price.
